With a need to keep fans up to speed from around the racetrack, Alanis King aspires to bring her love of motorsports to viewers through broadcast reporting. She writes about Red Bull Global Rallycross, NASCAR and Late Model racing for outlets such as Jalopnik, SPEED SPORT Magazine, Autoweek Magazine and others, while also chasing a broadcasting career in her spare time. 

 

Among her writing endeavors, Alanis has been the weekend editor of Jalopnik.com since September 2015. She writes about racing, production cars and everything in between—and runs the website—for the Fusion Media outlet every Saturday and Sunday.

 

Though Alanis’s main scene is in the classroom for the time being as she pursues a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin, keep an eye on pit road, or on your television set—she graduates in June of 2017, and will likely be there soon.

 

When Alanis is not at the racetrack, there is a good chance that you can find her teaching Zumba Fitness®, Total Body Conditioning or any other fitness format you can think of.
